Extensive Listening/Viewing HW せんしゅう にほんの えいがを みました。 The えいが was very cool as I got to see how visual effects are streamlined. It was a えいが about a bomb being planted on the bullet train and how it could not go below a certain speed, but it also focused on political climates of にほん , the がっこう life of the children on the train and the role of a conductor. It shows me how much more valued service workers are in にほん compared to アメリカ , which can also be a representation of collectivism vs individualism between the east and the west. I recognized a lot of words that involved actions like ジョギング , みる , のむ , and たべる (such as when the cart lady asked the kids if they wanted something to eat). Also, I learned more about the role of trains in にほん and how they can actually travel very long distances across the くに . I also found out the にほん emergency number is いち いち きゅう...
